Instead of stopping a Honda engine using the red kill switch, simply close the fuel shut-off lever. There are multiple benefits to doing this: First, the fuel shut-off lever should always be closed before transporting to help prevent fuel from getting into the crankcase and thinning out the oil. Additionally, this allows you to use up much of the excess fuel that would otherwise be left in the carburetor.
